It is a dying land. Vicious storms and an unstoppable destruction of the remnants of the human race, and terrifying modern machines swarm their territories. The Earth’s future is at risk, and there’s the absence of any explanation.

Aloy has to discover the real motives that lies behind these threats, in order to restore balance and order to the globe. Along the way her quest will require her to meet with old acquaintances, form alliances with warring new factions as well as unravel the roots of the old past, and all while trying to stay one step ahead of an unstoppable enemy.
